31/01/2022: Farm or Mixed Vet
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic farm or mixed practice vet, to join our team in West Wales. 
 
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience, we are flexible and the post can suit a full or part-time farm vet or a full-time mixed vet with an opportunity to continue with some small animal and equine work as well as farm. An interest in dairy and herd health planning as well as a strong interest in advisory, routine and emergency work is essential.
 
The practice is well equipped with EasiScan, Interherd/+, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound and Internal laboratory facilities. Excellent nursing support provided by our team of 7 RVNS and an SVN and an ANA, plus a dedicated team of customer service support in reception and admin. 
 
We are a long-established independent practice and have maintained our RCVS Practice Standards accreditation across farm, equine and small animal for many years. As a local business we aim to work with our values of care and integrity and focus on a quality service with our team, our clients, and their animals.  When times allow – we are a social practice – and look forward to getting back to those days.
 
Key qualities are that you are a team player, motivated to learn new skills and develop ideas and that you can share best practice with your fellow team members.  Salary and package based on experience.  Accommodation can be available if required.   CPD and Certificates encouraged

31/01/2022: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
We are looking forward to enhancing our small animal team with an experienced Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis.  We are flexible about hours but ideally would like someone for a minimum 3-day week part-time or a full-time role working over 4 or 5 days (approx. 40 hours).  Our emergency out of hours is covered by a dedicated OOH hospital from 6 pm daily and from 1pm on Saturdays.  Saturday mornings are on a 1:4 rota.

Tysul Vets is a first opinion practice with a loyal client base.  SA consults are 15 minutes and by appointment and a variety of consults,  operations and dentals are pre-booked in daily together with emergency admissions, in our two operating theatres and prep area.  We have an experienced nurse support team of 7 RVNs and a SVN and an ANA – , together with an enthusiastic and dedicated reception team.  We have the usual tools, of digital x-ray, ultrasound, and internal lab in place.
 
Experience is required for this post, (minimum 2 years) but it is more important that you are a team player and can share your ideas and experience with your colleagues and take a strong part in how the small animal work develops. This is an inclusive team who work well together.  Salary and package based on experience.  Accommodation can be available if required.
